Summit Dog’s Mission
Our mission is to provide customized animal-assisted therapy programs to anyone experiencing intellectual, emotional, physical, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
About Summit Dog
Summit Dog, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN: 83-1382200) that provides customized Animal Assisted Programs to achieve quantifiable objectives in education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psycho-therapy & counseling, as well as non-measurable objectives such as comfort and/or calming interactions. Summit Dog Therapy Animal Teams visit: children, youth in crisis, people with special needs, veterans, the sick, poor, homeless, elderly, and anyone in need of our special type of services. Many of our clients have special needs, disabilities, post-traumatic stress, or at-risk behaviors, but we serve everyone in the community. Summit Dog provides detailed specifications for the testing, health care, and temperament to qualify a Therapy Animal Team for various levels of therapy work. We truly make a difference in people’s lives, while doing something we LOVE!!!
